Position Overview

The role of a Project Manager at Lighting Maintenance Inc. involves identifying both new and ongoing business prospects while planning, executing, and overseeing projects to guarantee timely and budget-compliant delivery. The nature of projects will range from detailed schematics to design-build services tailored to the needs of various clients.

Lighting Maintenance Inc. boasts a diverse clientele and seeks an individual who can capitalize on existing opportunities while actively pursuing new ones. Responsibilities of the Project Manager encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging with current clients to explore new business avenues
  • Addressing inquiries received through the website, email, and phone regarding services
  • Maintaining communication with clients from initial engagement through to project completion
  • Conducting site visits to prepare comprehensive estimates
  • Acquiring quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Interpreting project specifications
  • Preparing necessary submittal documentation
  • Ordering materials based on project estimates
  • Coordinating schedules for vendors and subcontractors as needed
  • Establishing timelines and completion targets
  • Collaborating with general contractors, property owners, and other trades as required
  • Participating in site visits and meetings
  • Overseeing field personnel to ensure project efficiency
  • Conducting project closeout and preparing as-built documentation as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Electrician license is mandatory
  • Must possess a clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Capability to verify electrical load requirements and circuitry
  • Experience in underground and above-ground conduit installation
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and construction installation standards
  • Preferred experience in concrete pole base construction
  • General knowledge and hands-on experience with construction site operations and equipment, including excavators, skid loaders, aerial lifts, and concrete construction

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam software
