We are seeking a talented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Stacy Witbeck. As an intern, you will work closely with field engineers and project management staff to ensure projects are progressing on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities include:
- Directing and planning efforts of others, maintaining accountability for work accuracy and completeness.
- Training individuals on work processes and technical requirements.
- Maintaining records regarding job progress, costs, material usage, etc.
- Assisting in detailed planning and scheduling of job and/or job segments.
- Investigating problems and/or reported incidents, identifying and recommending solutions/alternates.
- Reviewing plans and specifications to determine material requirements, pricing, etc.
- Working with suppliers to facilitate material delivery.
- Aiding in estimating projects, including quantity take-offs.
Requirements:
- Pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to write presentations and articles using original techniques.
- Proficiency in computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.
- Understanding of calculus, modern algebra, and statistical theory.
This is a paid internship with opportunities for advancement. Our company values diversity and welcomes candidates from various backgrounds.
Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
