Job Description

Bay Area Excavating and Grading Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery following supervisor specifications
  • Maintain equipment, including cleaning, oiling, and greasing
  • Collaborate with other employees to achieve project goals
  • Report maintenance records and any issues promptly
  • Read blueprints and shooting elevations using grade rods and lasers
  • FOLLOW ALL SAFETY GUIDELINES TO MAINTAIN A SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Requirements
  • Must be able to legally operate heavy machinery
  • Previous experience in construction desired
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
