Job Summary

Blue Bird Corporation is seeking a highly analytical and dynamic Pricing and Sales Operations Manager to optimize and execute pricing strategies, providing administrative support to the field sales team. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive and implement pricing strategies that contribute to the financial success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Drive and implement pricing strategies to improve profitability while maintaining market share.
  • Market Analysis: Track pricing performance by monitoring competitor pricing, market trends, and quote metrics to assess and analyze pricing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Purchasing to continuously improve and optimize existing pricing models.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to the current pricing process that improves accuracy and throughput.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present state bid proposals in collaboration with Sales to Senior Management.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain market pricing database to understand industry dynamics and identify opportunities to refine existing pricing models.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Standardize department tracking reports for dealer and fleet sales by tracking monthly KPIs.
  • IT Project Management: Manage all Sales-related IT project requests.
  • Onboarding and Support: Organize the onboarding schedule for new members of the Sales team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any other related analytical field; MBA a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant pricing, analytical, finance, or consulting experience required.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint to build out proposals and business cases; knowledge in BI tools, i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.; CRM experience a plus, i.e., HubSpot or Salesforce.
