Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Schweiger Dermatology Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in a fast-paced medical setting.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including preparing patients for exams, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures by taking vital signs, updating medical records, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
  • Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures, such as injections, biopsies, and laser treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; nationally certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a medical setting, preferably in a dermatology practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential patient records, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
