Position Overview:

The Assistant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations Manager to drive financial performance and revenue growth for designated locations.

In collaboration with the Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager utilizes insights into local dental services to ensure the execution of the PDS Operational Model, also known as the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), aimed at cultivating long-term patient relationships.

In the absence of the Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager provides leadership and direction to ensure both individual and team success. This position supervises front office personnel and actively promotes PDS's mission and culture within the assigned locations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Exemplify company culture, values, and operational best practices in alignment with the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Act as the acting manager in the Operations Manager's absence.
  • Organize and prepare work schedules, assigning specific duties to team members.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance patient communication skills and facilitate their professional development.
  • Focus the team on executing the Owner Dentists' Clinical Culture to support the PPE.
  • Assist in driving year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
  • Ensure compliance with cash management and accounting protocols.
  • Provide insights on tactics that can improve financial and patient outcomes for the benefit of the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to PDS standards regarding facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Lead and participate in daily meetings and other required gatherings.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with its framework.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in executing PDS processes, systems, and tools while contributing to their enhancement.
  • Act as a catalyst for the Perfect Patient Experience and HC Handoff to foster long-term patient relationships.
  • Support clinicians in education and referrals concerning the Mouth-Body Connection.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies, treating others with respect.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior coursework or training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
