About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Manager to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work activities of our Engineering staff, ensuring the maintenance and repair of systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and electronic, telecom, and plumbing.

You will assist the department Director in planning, inspecting, and implementing department procedures, as well as assist in interviewing, selection, training, and evaluation of skilled department staff. Your leadership and consultative services will be essential in achieving regulatory and accreditation compliance, collaborating with clinicians and other staff to develop and implement processes to comply with regulatory standards, including Environment of Care.

You will apply principles of data management skills, dealing with basic statistical processes in data analysis, seeking out root causes, trends, and program effectiveness based on findings.

Requirements
  • AA/AS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience in project management in these fields preferred.
  • 3-5 years managerial, planning, and systems analysis management experience with clerical organizational skill knowledge.
  • Demonstrated current knowledge of and expertise complying with regulatory complex requirements of healthcare facilities.
  • Ability to read and write clear, concise, and complete reports and applicable paperwork.
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
