Soliant Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an occupational therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with various needs and abilities.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified occupational therapist to work onsite at a school in Altadena, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in occupational therapy and be passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing thorough occupational therapy evaluations, creating individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements, and delivering direct therapy services to students, aligning with their IEP objectives.
They will also work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure the best possible outcomes.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, a valid California OT license or eligibility to obtain, and prior experience in a school or pediatric environment is preferred.
You should also have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, which are essential for building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
