Paraprofessional/Behavior Aide

Details:
Position Type: Full-Time M-F
Caseload: Elementary, Middle, or High School (which is your preference)
Pay range: $18-25/hr depending on qualifications and experience
Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities that cater to the individual needs of the student.
• Maintain open munication with classroom teacher, school staff, and parents regarding the student's progress and needs.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to the student to foster a positive learning environment.
• Assist in creating a safe and inclusive space for the student to thrive academically and socially.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists or special educators, to ensure the student's specific needs are met.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in working with bilingual students.

Qualifications:

• Higher Education (preferred),
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Paraprofessional certification (preferred)
• passionate and patient demeanor, with excellent munication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong mitment to the well-being of students.
