Position Overview:

Schedule:

Direct Care: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Administrative Time: 5 hours

Total Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation: $21.25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with their daily needs, including personal care.
  • Plan and schedule meals and activities.
  • Coordinate and accompany clients to medical appointments.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Engage in cooking and household tasks.
  • Ensure safety within the residence.
  • Provide continuous supervision.
  • Transport clients to appointments and community events.
  • Coach and mentor staff members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and logs of all consumer-related activities, medications, and compliance with PTC policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to cover additional shifts as needed.
  • Willingness to participate in water-related activities.
  • Pass a DHS and nationwide criminal background check.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
