JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking energetic and motivated Cleaning and Maintenance Associates to become part of the Equinox team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic organization located in a state-of-the-art, luxury facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the club and exercise equipment while delivering exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
  • Ensure the sidewalk entrance and lobby areas are well-presented.
  • Thoroughly clean the locker rooms and replenish all necessary consumables.
  • Organize and maintain storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of towels is available on the exercise floor.
  • Perform maintenance on all equipment.
  • Receive and properly store all deliveries.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Alert the Housekeeping Manager regarding any areas or equipment requiring immediate attention.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred.
  • Ability to service athletic equipment, along with experience using cleaning products and tools.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
