Key Responsibilities: Perform essential clerical tasks associated with procurement activities. Responsible for managing purchase orders generated through requisitions, blanket orders, and contracts with government entities.

Core Duties:
  • Assess requisitions to identify vendors for price quotes and contract placements; analyze bids and select appropriate suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery timelines, and contractual obligations
  • Follow up on overdue purchase orders with relevant vendors
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Property departments to ensure the accuracy of pricing information
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of purchasing experience
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute, proficient in ten-key and computer operations
  • A valid driver's license in the state of employment with a satisfactory driving record is mandatory
