LPN Job Description

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Interim HealthCare Staffing, you'll have the flexibility to choose your schedule and assignments. Our company has been a leading employer of LPNs since 1966, and we're committed to putting patients first.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for patients with various illnesses, injuries, and diseases in medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools, under the supervision of an RN.
  • Work with a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Take patient vitals, do assessments, document progress, and report changes to the RN supervisor.
  • Assist the RN in carrying out physician's orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments.
  • Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Colorado.
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
  • Covid-19 vaccination card.
  • Proof of flu vaccination during flu season (optional).
  • Must have a valid TB screening.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassion.
