Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily communication logs to stay informed.
  • Adhere to hygiene protocols by wearing a hairnet and washing hands prior to food handling.
  • Prepare the dishwashing area, organizing tubs for utensils and dishware.
  • Maintain cleanliness by washing tables before service and cleaning dishes as required.
  • Set dining tables with appropriate linens and utensils, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Check and replenish condiments and dining essentials such as salt, pepper, sugar, and jelly.
  • Provide ice water and assist in serving beverages to residents.
  • Support the culinary staff in delivering meals according to the daily table assignments.
  • Assist in clearing and sanitizing tables post-meal.
  • Ensure proper dishwashing procedures are followed, including temperature checks and sanitation tests.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
