Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The Philadelphia Unemployment Project is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee the administrative and financial operations of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash flow and finances, including budget preparation and submission of monthly invoices to funders.
  • Ensure accurate accounts payable and receivable, adhering to Board-approved budgets.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the Board.
  • Administer payroll, pay deductions, and benefits, including healthcare, pension, and workers' compensation.
  • Collaborate with funders and independent auditors to complete organizational audits.
  • Manage HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, and tracking employee leave.
  • Assist the Director with various office and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online.
  • Experience in non-profit financial operations.
  • Confidentiality, trustworthiness, and strong integrity.
Education:
  • Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree.
