Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Southland Employment Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Stand-Up Forklift, moving products and materials within our warehouse. This is a hands-on role that requires strong physical abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate various industrial vehicles, including Stand-Up Forklifts, to store or remove materials
  • Prepare products and materials for shipment by loading, unloading, and staging
  • Track and record units of materials handled using industry-standard procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Possibility to move up to Lead Forklift Operator

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with pallet jacks, forklifts, or other industrial vehicles
  • Ability to handle physically demanding workload
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Possess good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

    Salary Information:

    The estimated salary range for this position is between $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
