Job Summary

Kids Above All is seeking a full-time therapist to join our Clinical Program team in Waukegan. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy to assigned clients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outreach services, as clinically appropriate, to support clients and families in need.
  • Review and update case plans quarterly, ensuring that clients receive quality, professional services.
  • Assist in marketing our Clinical Program to potential referral sources, promoting our services and expertise.
  • Participate in regular clinical consultation and provide consultation to staff as needed, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide exceptional care.
  • Provide crisis coverage for assigned cases, adhering to Armour guidelines and ensuring the well-being of our clients.
  • Ensure that clients are offered quality, professional services, adhering to the directives of the Council on Accreditation, NASW Social Work Code of Ethics, and other recognized groups.
  • Follow agency policies and procedures, ensuring that our services and management meet the highest standards.
  • Meet billing requirements, ensuring that our services are accurately documented and reimbursed.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistical reports, as required, to support our program's success.
  • Recommend psychiatric services for clients as appropriate, ensuring that they receive comprehensive care.
  • Refer and consult with all parties, as needed, to support the well-being of our clients.
  • Educate and assist clients and families with medication management, coordinate collateral therapeutic services, and provide clinical training to staff or collateral programs, as required.
  • Attend hospitals and other staffing, as needed, to support our clients and team.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work or counseling, or ability to become clinically licensed in Illinois.
  • LCPC or LASW licensure required.
  • Minimum three years of direct service experience with similar populations, demonstrating expertise and a commitment to quality care.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and use sound, independent judgment in all aspects of your work.
  • Perceptive awareness and responsiveness to children, adolescents, and adults, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work some evenings/weekends hours, as needed, to support our clients and team.
  • Must meet and maintain Agency driving standards, ensuring safe and responsible transportation.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word required, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Access to insured auto is preferred but not required, as our therapists are not required to have a car or conduct home visits. All visits will be at the office and virtual, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Salary Range:

  • No License: $50,000-$62,000
  • LSW or LPC License: $52,000-$64,000
  • LCSW or LCPC License: $60,000-$70,000
