POSITION OVERVIEW

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for delivering technical assistance to employees facing computer-related challenges, whether remotely or onsite. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer service. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, be self-motivated, and demonstrate excellent organizational abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist users through our Help Desk ticketing system, phone, remote access, or in-person to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in various areas, including:
    • Hardware peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
    • Software applications (Windows, CRM systems)
    • Mobile device support (iOS, smartphones)
    • Third-party vendor interactions
    • Desk phone troubleshooting
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques.
  • Document issues and resolutions in accordance with IT Help Desk protocols.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of software applications.
  • Utilize Active Directory within a Help Desk environment.
  • Assist with employee setup, including hardware and software configurations.
  • Install and configure new workstations and equipment.
  • Manage technology-related asset tracking and inventory.
  • Provide accurate information regarding IT products and services.
  • Continuously update knowledge of technology used within the company.
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
  • Support training for new hires on basic IT needs.
  • Test and evaluate new technology solutions.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance current practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other technical support staff as needed.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to swiftly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Teamwork and leadership capabilities to assist fellow support staff.

  • Familiarity with Office and Exchange 365.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
