Position Summary:
In collaboration with the AVP of Sales, Customer Service, Membership, and Directory Operations, this role is crucial for executing Teleflora's sales commission programs across all sales divisions. The Manager will concentrate on data synthesis to accurately calculate and disburse periodic commission payments while utilizing insights to enhance sales strategies, refine approaches, and drive performance management within the sales organization. Furthermore, this position will engage with key stakeholders to modernize business operations, boost operational efficiencies, and provide strategic recommendations.

Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for in-office work from Monday to Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive processing of commission plans and sales incentive payments for all eligible positions, ensuring accurate field territory alignments.
  • Utilize strong business acumen and technical expertise to enhance Sales teams' efficiency, assess performance, and deliver insightful reporting that drives results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests, ensuring clarity in data specifications and report design.
  • Develop and refine analytic models to address client requests, performance challenges, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Work effectively with internal teams to tackle challenges, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company objectives and align commission programs accordingly, managing the processes for commission calculations and payments.
  • Anticipate business performance needs and represent those requirements through key initiatives, proactively identifying ways to contribute to business goals.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as directed by leadership and manage special projects across functions.
  • Analyze and report data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communicate with sales leadership regarding sales details, commissions, and bonus payments.
  • Document requirements for updates in the commission system as new compensation plans are introduced or modified.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to implement enhancements.
  • Analyze historical data, perform variance analysis, and design financial models as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in building dynamic financial models.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL is preferred.
  • Prior experience in managing commissions programs is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in operational process improvements.
