Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification (GN must obtain within six months from date of hire or transfer into unit).
- 1-2 years of critical care experience.
- CCRN, TNCC.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Knowledge of body substance isolation.
- Ability to listen, empathize, and respond to patient, family, internal, and external partners' needs.
Del Sol Medical Center is a full-service, acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas. We have a Level II trauma designation and offer a range of services, including emergency care, cardiac care, women's services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a bariatric clinic, and a Minimally Invasive Surgery Center.
