Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Patient Transportation Services to lead our patient transportation team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the effective leadership of patient transportation services, including the successful management of supervisors, finances, client relations, patient and customer satisfaction, program quality standards, performance improvement, and personnel performance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics, including budget development and management.
- Leadership and Supervision: Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the patient transportation department, including the management of supervisors.
- Client Relations: Maintains excellent relationships with clients, including hospital administrators and other stakeholders.
- Quality and Performance Improvement: Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and maintains high standards of quality and performance.
- Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrates excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Planning: Develops and implements strategic plans to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent related experience required.
- Experience: Previous hospital patient transportation experience is preferred.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervision of staff employees required.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data, and to develop and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Business Acumen: General business acumen and knowledge of healthcare industry trends and best practices.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
