Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Leader to oversee the maintenance process for our property in Memphis, TN.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.

A Day in the Life: As the Facilities Management Leader, you will be responsible for ordering supplies, diagnosing maintenance problems, and performing service requests.

  • You will supervise the workflow for the service staff and delegate workload to staff.
  • You will meet and exceed budget expectations for expenditures.
  • You will order supplies, materials, and tools as needed.
  • You will diagnose problems and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical (when no license is required), general carpentry, pool care, and roof and gutter repairs.
  • You will address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • You will communicate effectively with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations.
  • You will perform service requests correctly and promptly.
  • You will operate computers and other technological devices to access email, and company-utilized software.

Salary Range: $24-$28 per hour

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 2 years of property maintenance experience.
  • EPA/HVAC/CPO certification is preferred or required.
  • You must have effective communication skills and maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • You must utilize hand tools and power tools and respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
