The Seafood Sales Associate at The Fish Market plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service while working in a dynamic environment. This position involves preparing seafood for both retail display and restaurant service, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a variety of fresh and frozen seafood products to fulfill daily sales requirements.
- Delivering outstanding customer service by welcoming guests and addressing their inquiries.
- Preparing and cutting seafood items, including whole fish, for customer purchase.
- Providing customers with essential information to assist in their product choices.
- Upholding The Fish Market's standards for product freshness, rotation, and cleanliness.
- Keeping the daily menu and product knowledge current and informative.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid California Food Handler's card.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to lift and carry products weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- A proactive approach and a readiness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
