We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Outreach Educator to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Perinatal Outreach Program, you will play a vital role in providing educational services to our clients and patients.
About the Role:- Implement and instruct established curriculum to meet the needs of our service facilities.
- Function as a liaison to facilitate perinatal health, care for clients, patients, and their families, and/or participants of health issues related to women and children.
- Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of the theories and principles of adult education.
- Support facilities requesting outreach services, including travel to and from facilities, loading and unloading supplies, and staying up to date on current evidence and research.
- Graduate of a school of nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum experience in NICU, OB/GYN, pediatrics, or women's health care.
- Experience with group dynamics, public speaking, and/or public relations preferred.
- Experience working with IT, audiovisual, and digital media preferred.
