Key Responsibilities
  • **Teaching and Learning**
    • Design, prepare and develop teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate programs
    • Conduct classes, lectures, tutorials, and practicals
    • Consult with students, invigilate, mark, and assess their work
    • Participate in high-quality program and curriculum development
    • Plan and implement teaching strategies to optimize student learning and motivation
  • **Research**
    • Participate in scholarly activities, including research, conference presentations, journal publications, and community work
    • Support efforts to secure grants for research activities and scholarship as co-researcher
    • Achieve research outcome targets for Associate Professor level of appointment
  • **Administration and Other Activities**
    • Undertake administrative responsibilities, such as attending departmental meetings and participating in committees and working groups
    • Participate in continuous professional development
    • Assist in establishing linkages with external organizations and professional bodies
Requirements
  • PhD or DBA in a relevant marketing field, with a record of publications in Web of Science or Scopus
  • Master's degree in marketing with strong industry experience in research, digital marketing, and analytics
  • Experience working in higher education and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development
  • Good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high-quality presentation skills
  • Preferably with an h-index of 4
  • Graduated at least 2 PhD students
  • Publish 7-10 papers in the last 5 years in Scopus
  • Cumulative research grant of RM100,000 - RM75,000
