Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Lead Designer for various projects, executing comprehensive mechanical systems design.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines including structural, electrical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers to ensure cohesive design and scheduling.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while tracking project design progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An Associate degree in Drafting from a technical institution, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in SOLIDWORKS or Inventor software.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD (2D) or DraftSight.
  • Proficient in the Office 365 product suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Working knowledge of PDM/PLM systems.
  • Background in structural detailing or mechanical system design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
