Job Summary

The Interco Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general facility maintenance and repairs to the interior and exterior of the company's buildings. This role involves maintaining and repairing fixtures, appliances, and equipment, as well as setting up, installing, and maintaining company production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior of building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
  • Maintain, set up, install, and repair production equipment and machinery.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation.
  • Identify and repair faulty equipment.
  • Comply with all safety requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
  • Work independently on assigned maintenance work orders and assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
