Position Summary

The role involves strategic management of specific categories of indirect goods and services utilized across Domino's and its Supply Chain Services. Responsibilities include the active management of designated categories valued at or below $5 million, alongside the identification and integration of new indirect goods/services categories on both local and national scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies and business continuity plans for assigned categories.
  • Manage and enhance the supplier portfolio in alignment with strategic objectives, considering performance and risk factors.
  • Create cost-effective supply and service strategies.
  • Drive value through productivity improvements, enhanced services, and process optimizations across all managed categories, contributing to the Procurement Department's annual savings goals.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts from local to national levels, ensuring optimal quality, service, and cost efficiency.
  • Communicate program details effectively, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Continuously track and manage all goods/services and associated cost drivers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with Domino's specifications, superior service, and competitive pricing.
  • Develop key internal stakeholder relationships to drive category strategies and program execution.
  • Analyze purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Adjust supplier bases as necessary based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering preferred.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in purchasing activities within the food service industry or related fields.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage both internal and external relationships effectively.
  • Proficient in prioritizing and executing multiple tasks without losing focus.
  • Experience with spreadsheet and word processing software, with MS Office being advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and a collaborative team player.
