Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate a range of heavy equipment, including excavators, dump trucks, and bulldozers, to excavate, move, and grade earth for construction projects.
  • Ensure Safety: Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Monitor Operations: Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met and that equipment is being used efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Crew: Coordinate with other crew members to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in a construction or excavation setting.
  • Qualifications: Must be able to stoop, bend, and crouch and use hands, arms, and legs fully. Must have good vision and hearing (either naturally or with correction). Frequently lift up to 80 pounds, and the ability to carry objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
