The Registered Nurse Cath Lab PRN position at Las Palmas Medical Center is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise and dedication. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans for patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
  • Collaborate with the patient, family, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • RN licensed in the State of Texas or Compact State
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma
  • Critical Care experience required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cardiac Catheterization laboratory and Cardiology Service experience
  • Knowledge of EKG arrhythmia and hemodynamic monitoring, and intra balloon pumping
  • Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care
