Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at My Florida Corp Defunct. As a key member of our Student Health Services department, you will provide high-quality nursing care to students under the supervision of a Senior Community Health Nursing Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer first aid and daily medications to students as requested and ordered by a physician.
  • Perform CPR or emergency services as necessary.
  • Provide needed health care procedures to students, including intermittent clean catheterization, gastrostomy tube feeding, and monitoring blood glucose.
  • Organize and assist with state-mandated health screenings, such as hearing/vision, scoliosis, and body mass index.
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation of all work performed.
Requirements
  • Valid Florida LPN license.
  • Ability to acquire CPR and First Aid Certification prior to job assignment.
  • Access to transportation.
  • Willingness to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
