Software Integration Specialist

At EVs, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the integration of cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure solutions.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead interoperability testing and validation of EV charging systems, including OCPP 1.6/2.0.1 protocols and vehicle compatibility standards (DIN70121 and ISO15118)
  • Provide technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product specifications, installation planning, and system commissioning
  • Conduct systematic troubleshooting using data mining, log analysis, and performance testing to resolve complex technical issues
  • Support RFI/RFP processes by reviewing technical specifications and contributing to product positioning strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and operations to ensure successful project delivery
  • Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and various locations to provide technical support and represent the company
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in application engineering, preferably in electrical or power electronics industries
  • Demonstrated knowledge of communication protocols including TCP/IP, CAN bus, and Modbus
  • Experience with structured product testing and documentation
  • Background in customer requirement assessment and translation into technical specifications
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and proven track record of successful customer relationship management

The estimated salary for this position is around $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
