Tufts Medicine seeks a visionary leader to spearhead Ambulatory Psychiatry and Integrated Behavioral Healthcare services. As Chief, you will drive innovation and excellence in patient care, leveraging your expertise to develop and implement cutting-edge service delivery models.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance patient access to care, including developing innovative service delivery models.
- Provide leadership and participate in the development and execution of outpatient psychiatry and integrated behavioral health clinical and operational improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Department Chair and Executive Director to establish productivity targets and implement tracking and accountability mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with patient care standards, laws, regulations, and professional organization standards.
- Build partnerships between primary care physicians and psychiatrists through an integrated behavioral health care model, including Collaborative Care for specified populations.
- Expand billing practices and enhance revenue generation for integrated behavioral health and PCP annual screenings.
- Demonstrated successful clinical leadership at an academic institution.
- Passionate mentor with a proven track record of clinical and academic accomplishments.
- MD or equivalent, eligible for a medical license in Massachusetts.
- BC/BE in Psychiatry.
- Eligible for an academic appointment with Tufts University School of Medicine.
