We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiation Therapist to join our team at BlueHorizon Solutions in North Rhine-Westphalia. Our practice specializes in radiation therapy and radiooncology for cancer patients, utilizing individualized palliative treatments for metastases and various therapies such as brachytherapy, teletherapy, IMRT, respiratory gating, and pain-relieving radiation.
Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including an HDR afterloading system, a 16-line CT, linear accelerators, and a new CT for 3D radiation planning. The focus is on treating various types of tumors, including lung, brain, gynecological, head and neck tumors, glioblastomas, and lymphomas.
The team consists of 15 highly qualified physicians and staff, working together in a professional and pleasant environment. As a Senior Radiation Therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of radiation oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cancer patients
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new treatment protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in radiation therapy or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in radiation therapy
- Strong knowledge of radiation oncology principles and practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
