Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MUSC Community Physicians. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills. In this role, you will work closely with our medical staff to provide patient-centered care and support to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care and support to our patients
- Work closely with our medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
- Develop and implement plans of care to meet patients' needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and procedures
Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensure as an LPN in the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- One year of experience in a similar role preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
