Chief Financial Officer

CarterPierce, INC. is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join its growing team. As a key member of the Executive Team, the CFO will be responsible for raising capital, managing financial planning and analysis, and overseeing accounting and tax functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth plans
  • Raise capital for environmental infrastructure projects and negotiate long-term contracts
  • Contribute to the development of strategic objectives and daily tasks
  • Oversee fiscal reporting activities, including revenue/expense and balance sheet reports
  • Work with senior management and investors to ensure revenue objectives are met
  • Participate in developing new business opportunities, including identifying funding opportunities and drafting budgets
  • Conduct risk analysis and provide financial insight into the organization's plans and budgets
  • Coordinate with external tax preparers and oversee business support services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in raising capital for infrastructure projects and negotiating long-term contracts
  • Prior experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry or Infrastructure development is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Significant knowledge of GAAP and other compliance and reporting requirements
  • Experience with complex financing models and capital investment analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with advanced presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, CPA, and/or CFA preferred
  • Prior experience as CFO of a Private Equity portfolio company
  • Live in the Orange County area and work out of the Irvine office
Compensation:

An attractive compensation package based on background and experience, including a base salary, incentive bonus, and equity participation.
