Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of aviation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, and manage project resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and standards in all project activities.
- Oversee airfield design and airfield lighting installation projects.
- Conduct runway design and other aviation-related engineering tasks.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development and client relationship management.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Conduct risk management activities to minimize project risks.
- Prepare and present project status reports and other project documentation to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation project management.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
- Proven experience in managing airfield and airfield lighting projects.
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and standards.
- Proficient in runway design and other aviation-related engineering tasks.
- Strong business development skills, with a proven track record in proposal development and client relationship management.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve project issues effectively.
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant software applications.
