Job Title: Residential Real Estate Sales Director

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year

About the Opportunity

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced sales professional to serve as the senior sales leader for a regional residential real estate sales office. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with branch managers and assistant managers to maximize sales production and grow the residential real estate sales force.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management and recruiting, with a strong ability to motivate and lead a team of sales professionals. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve targeted revenue, profit, and sales growth goals;
  • Serve as a senior residential real estate sales coach and recruiter to nurture and close sales opportunities;
  • Partner with regional sales recruiters to close sales associates and promote the company brand;
  • Staff, coach, develop, and manage a highly qualified team of sales professionals;
  • Ensure that internal sales systems and tools are aggressively used by all sales associates to prospect customers and achieve sales targets;
  • Engage and coach sales associates to help them achieve their personal production goals and contribute to office sales production targets;
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to monitor performance and provide feedback and guidance;
  • Attend monthly regional president's meeting to stay informed about company initiatives and share best practices;
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and metrics, including open houses, listing presentations, buyer consultations, farming activities, core calls, recruiting appointments, and sales associate hires;
  • Promote and manage the utilization of customer success tools and customer experience programs to optimize sales associate market share adoption;
  • Host weekly sales office meetings and organize the weekly open house program for the office;
  • Assign opportunity time to sales associates and monitor their attendance and quality of performance;
  • Foster a strong sense of community across the office, resulting in strong sales associate and colleague brand adoption and advocacy;
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of the office, ensuring neatness and cleanliness;
  • Makes recommendations for sales performance and process efficiencies to the regional president;
  • Leverages the regional processing manager to ensure timely and accurate unit reporting and important sales associate networking and community activities;
  • Ensures the proper application and conformity with all company policies and procedures;
  • Organizes office participation in local community events and trade organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • Real estate license preferred;
  • Five or more years of sales management and/or recruiting experience required;
  • Real estate experience preferred;
  • Sales management or prior leadership training required;
  • Recruiting and contract negotiation experience strongly preferred;
  • Strong presentation skills (written and verbal) with an ability to command an audience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Good people management skills;
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
