Job Description

The Lead EHS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and health of employees and the environment at our facilities. This includes developing and implementing EHS programs, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to employees on safe working practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS programs and policies
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Provide training to employees on safe working practices and emergency procedures
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Develop and maintain records of EHS activities and incidents
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of EHS programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience implementing EHS programs in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Proven experience driving a safety culture improvement plan and implementing key safety initiatives
  • Solid background in OSHA standards and compliance reporting requirements
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills
