Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting with the insertion of catheters into the heart and measuring and administering special fluids.
Key Responsibilities- Transfer Stable Patients: Transfer stable patients to recovery rooms following the completion of procedures.
- Assist with Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the cleaning, maintenance, set-up, and testing of EP lab equipment.
- Provide Patient Support: Answer questions from patients and family members prior to the procedure.
- Monitor EKG Readouts: Monitored EKG readouts and reported any irregularities to the doctor.
- Inspect and Test Equipment: Inspect and test EKG equipment prior to patient procedures.
- Prepare Patients: Prepare patients for procedures (cleaning, shaving, etc.).
- Anesthetize the Area of Insertion: Anesthetize the area of insertion for angioplasties.
- Education: Associates Degree.
- Certification: Telemetry Certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience: One year of experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician.
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS.
