Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Superintendent to join our team at McFarland Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from planning to execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Coordinating construction activities, including subcontractor management, material procurement, and equipment rental.
  • Establishing and managing site safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Overseeing work among trades, promoting coordinated project operations.
  • Liaising with inspection agencies and stakeholders.
  • Managing General Conditions and General Requirements to maintain budget.
  • Coordinating billing processes, including work-in-place estimates, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payments.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or related field (desired).
  • At least 7 years of experience in construction management.
  • Proven ability to understand drawings, specifications, general contracts, and subcontract documents.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and well-organized, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work nights and weekends, maintaining jobsite cleanliness.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Word and Outlook, Procore experience a plus.
  • OSHA training required.
