About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Analytics Intern to join our team at Meijer. As a Store Analytics Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our Store Analytics team to drive store productivity and operational improvement through data, analytics, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in enhancing the store operations reporting strategy, including day-to-day review and ad-hoc report creation
  • Partner with IT to create and update reporting
  • Implement analytical techniques, tools, and scorecards to drive business results and ensure fact-based analytics are utilized when making business decisions
  • Apply advanced quantitative methods, data mining, modeling, and analytical tools to solve complex business problems across Store Operations
Qualifications
  • Progress toward a bachelor's or advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and other office products
  • Working knowledge of ETL, Python, Databricks, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar programming skills
  • Problem-solving skills, active curiosity, customer focus, relationship skills, and communication skills
