Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in a clinical-based setting. The ideal candidate will utilize the application of psychological and social work theory, knowledge, ethics, and methods to restore or enhance the social, psychosocial, or bio-psychosocial functioning of individuals, couples, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues.
- Provide prevention-oriented therapy to promote healthy coping mechanisms and resilience.
- Implement and review treatment plans to ensure effective and efficient care.
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner to maintain accurate records.
- Interviews and assesses clients and assists throughout the treatment/care process.
- Identifies and provides helpful resources to clients to support their recovery journey.
- Develops and maintains a strong understanding of community resources and services to support clients.
- Manages client caseload, records, documents, and completes clinical paperwork in a timely manner.
- Networks within the community to establish partnerships and collaborations to support clients.
- Attends staff meetings and supervisions as necessary to ensure ongoing education and support.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work or counseling from a regionally-accredited university.
- Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLCP).
- Two years of experience in a clinical mental health/counseling field, with a focus on trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented services.
