Key Responsibilities- Assist in Repairs: Collaborate with experienced technicians and mechanics to assist in various repair tasks, including preparing surfaces, sanding, taping, and masking vehicles prior to painting, as well as removing and installing damaged parts.
- Painter Helper Duties: Support our lead painter by mixing paint, preparing spray equipment, and applying primer and paint to vehicles. Assist painters in the collision repair facility by providing coating materials to exterior painting and matching paint colors.
- Body Helper: Assist skilled auto body technicians in repairing dents, straightening frames, and welding damaged parts. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed.
- Mechanic Helper: Assist the mechanic with routine maintenance, frame and structural repairs, diagnostics, and maintaining vehicle safety and integrity.
- Buffer Assistant: Perform prep work, buffing, sanding, removing old paint, filling cracks, polishing, and masking to prepare surfaces for painting.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure repaired vehicles meet the highest standards and specifications.
- Equipment and Tools: Utilize various tools and equipment, such as spray guns, painting equipment, power tools, masking tape, basic hand tools, wire brushes, and more.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and maintain detailed records for each vehicle in a timely manner.
- Monday through Friday hours
