Sinai Chicago is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine screening and diagnostic mammograms, as well as bone density studies, at the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Services: Perform high-quality mammograms for interpretation by radiologists, preparing examination rooms, equipment, and materials as needed for patients.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on breast health issues, demonstrate self-breast examination techniques, and provide patients with breast care pamphlets required by ACR/FDA guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly QA reports for annual MQSA inspection, and maintain all mammography accreditation records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and disinfect mammography units and other equipment before and after patient use, in accordance with ACR/FDA guidelines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: IDNS/IEMA, ARRT, CPR.
