POSITION OVERVIEW

The Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector is responsible for executing tasks related to the penetrant processing of products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Calibrate and set up equipment, including FPI processing lines, PSM-5 panels, and ultraviolet lights.
  • Assist in conducting tests, interpreting results, and documenting findings in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Not applicable.
  • Essential Skills: Ability to read and write clearly, basic mathematical skills, effective written and verbal communication, and strong problem-solving abilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Setting: Manufacturing and factory environment.
  • Required Personal Protective Equipment: Adhere to PPE requirements specific to work areas.
  • Safety Glasses: Mandatory in all areas of the facility.
  • Footwear: Steel-toed shoes are required throughout the plant.
