We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, including photographs, notes, and test results.
- Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and report potential safety hazards and quality control issues to ensure a safe working environment.
- Project Monitoring: Track project progress, including scheduling, cost, and quality control metrics.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection, quality control, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: NICET certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
