Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategic Planning
- Develops and implements strategic plans to improve patient care and nursing operations
- Provides leadership and direction to nursing staff and other hospital departments
- Financial Management
- Coordinates and directs budget preparation for nursing operations
- Ensures operations meet or exceed budget projections
- Quality and Patient Safety
- Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and national patient safety goals
- Develops and implements quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Collaboration and Communication
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with medical staff and other hospital departments
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
- Education
- Master's degree in an applicable area of study (e.g. nursing, healthcare administration)
- License/Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Experience
- 12 years of progressive nursing experience required
- Eight (8) years of management/leadership experience required
