As a Manufacturing Process Improvement Leader, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and product quality. Your contributions will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with compounding operators to support daily operations, including start-up, shut-down, and routine clean-up tasks.
2. Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment, complying with relevant regulations.
3. Engage in downtime and turnaround activities to minimize delays in production.
4. Lead cross-departmental improvement projects utilizing lean methodologies such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and standard work development.
5. Mentor and train team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lean principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments for ongoing enhancement.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma, GED, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in the use of computers, calculators, personal protective equipment (PPE), and testing instruments, with strong mathematical capabilities.
- Hands-on experience operating equipment both remotely and on-site.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong self-management and leadership abilities.
