Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Technician to join our team at The Manor House. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of healthcare.
  • Monitor therapeutic treatment and recognize differences in the care team.
  • Create a setting conducive to opinion-sharing and collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols.
  • Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care and utilize information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • AA or BA in sociology or psychology preferred.
  • Psi chi technician certification preferred.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Certification preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant or Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
